Our soap pouch is made of natural, braided hemp. The use of hemp for products is not very well known, and most people know hemp mainly for its smokable application. But did you know that hemp is actually a very sustainable crop to make products from?

Hemp, for example, grows twice as fast as cotton! It is also inherently resistant to insects and other pests, and pesticides are completely unnecessary. In addition, Hemp purifies the soil it grows on and releases nutrients to it. So unlike cotton, it does not deplete the soil, but rather improves its quality! Finally, hemp is completely zero waste: it consists of two layers, both of which can be used for different products. For example, one layer is slightly rougher and therefore perfect for rope, textiles or soap bags! The other layer is a bit softer and is therefore widely used for clothing.

Because the soap bag is 100% hemp, it is also 100% biodegradable.

How do you use it?

The Blokzeep soap pouch is specially designed to be used along with our body bars. It is an ideal way to save soap, making your body bar last longer. How it works. Putting a body bar in the soap pouch naturally creates lather when you use it. Also, some of the soap remains in the pouch, which is saved for the next time. As a result, you need less of your body bar with each shower and it therefore lasts longer. At the same time, the soap pouch is also a natural scrub for your skin, which removes dead skin cells and leaves your skin feeling soft.
