Mineral sunscreen without (micro)plastics, how do you use it?
With nice weather, everyone thinks about using sunscreen. Unfortunately, there are many types of sunscreen on the market with microplastics or at least in plastic packaging. They also often contain SPF filters that you don't really want to put on your body and that don't make nature happy either. That's why we set to work on a sunscreen without microplastics! A solid sunscreen with natural SPF filter. We present: the Blokzeep mineral sun block!
Why should you want a mineral sunscreen? And how does it actually work? We explain it all to you in this blog!
Why a mineral sunscreen?
We have developed a sunscreen without microplastics in solid form, as you have come to expect from us. We chose this in order to produce as little waste as possible. So a cardboard stick packaging also fell through, partly because the sunscreen can leak through the cardboard. We ended up with our familiar block shape. That way you can choose whether or not to use a can.
The sunscreen comes in SPF 30 with a fresh mint scent. Mint brings many benefits, including cooling, conditioning and antiseptic properties. This not only makes this sunscreen without microplastics, but gives it even more nurturing qualities and a nice scent.
This is how it works!
Even though this is a new product, it doesn't mean that using it has to be complicated. With these three steps, you'll know exactly how to use it! You know what else is good news? After applying it, you can go straight into the sun without having to wait for it to soak in, because it does right away!
Step 1. Warm the bar between your hands so that it spreads easily. If the bar is in a warmer environment and therefore already well spreadable you can skip this step.

Step 2. Rub the bar over your skin and then spread the sunscreen with your hands. We recommend using the side of the bar for this. Spread the sunburn well so that it does not leave a white haze.
Step 3. Enjoy! But sun consciously. Apply sunscreen regularly, especially after swimming or perspiring. Also, don't stay in the sun at a stretch and avoid the intense midday sun (12:00 to 4:00 p.m.).Finally, avoid eye contact and direct contact with textiles.

Blokzeep tip! Even though our sunscreen is solid without microplastics, it doesn't mean it can't melt. So always store the bar in a waterproof container! Our travel tin is very handy for this and fits perfectly.
